Thermo Formed Doors

About Thermo Formed Doors

Thermo formed doors or vacuum formed doors as they are often called are an option for clients who may want a pattern or design routed into the face of the door. Once this step has been completed a thin layer of colour is applied to the front of the door in the form of a vinal wrap. This is applied to the front of the door with heat and vacuum pressure helping it adhere to the surface. There are sometimes limitations as to what film or finish can be applied to what design or door profile you choose

Thermo formed doors are usually middle of the road with regard to pricing when it comes to planning your new kitchen

This is very much a personal choice and can depend on the look or style of kitchen and joinery you are considering. In general stone benchtops are used in kitchens of higher finish and quality where Laminate benchtops tend to be installed in situations where a budget needs to be considered.

This is a very personal choice but ultimately can come down to the budget allowed for the area, the required finish, or the environment the area may be subjected to. Painted doors are the top of the line when it comes to door finish but the ever growing range of laminates are making laminate options increasingly popular and even a mix of both.
